City of Bridgeport, CT plans to purchase industrial property for park space along the urban Pequonnock River in East Bridgeport, CT

One consideration is that the Pequonnock River in Bridgeport is not suitable for fishing due to the river water quality; however, this waterway is suitable for habitat restoration efforts and for use by canoeists and kayakers. Insertion of a small boat dock area for public use for this purpose would be a great addition!
